Day Twelve from Miriam - ER and Pure Imagination

Saturday was a doctor day.  We went to the doctor, and waited forever.

While we were waiting, I went to an adorable place called La Brioche, at the recommendation of the secretary, and got delicious strawberry banana frappes and English muffins with English bacon, egg, and sweet ketchup for us.  Lovely!

After that, they sent us to the ER for x-rays.

It was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG wait.

This is what their wheelchairs look like.  It's a padded chair that happens to have wheels on it that more or less work.  Mostly less.  I had to wheel Melissa backwards.

After finally getting sent back to x-rays and waiting more, getting x-rayed and waiting more, getting examined and sent back to wait more for the correct x-rays, then waiting more for feedback, it turns out...

(drumroll, please)

'Tis broken.

At the end, we wanted to do SOMETHING fun.

So, we went to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The theatre was beautiful.

The show was lovely and magical, and the scene where Charlie and Willy Wonka fly out over the audience in a glowing glass elevator while Mr. Wonka sings "Pure Imagination" ranks as one of the top most magical musical theatre moments of my experience.
