We visited Kensington Palace!!!!
This lovely modern lighting display made of electro-luminescent wire and Swarovski crystals greeted us as we entered.
They have a lovely segment on Victoria and Albert.
This is the carpet in the section about their love. Awwwwwwww.
They have the loveliest and most romantic story EVER.
At Kensington, there is also a fashion exhibit displaying dresses worn by Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret, and Diana, Princess of Wales. I found it fascinating!
The grand King's Staircase.
I really enjoyed these two paintings of Christ. The left is Christ with the woman at the well; the right is the nativity.
We found a beautiful window.
Queen Victoria sits in majesty out front to bid you good day as you exit the palace.
STREET MUSICIAN ALERT.
We visited the Elfin Oak on the grounds. It is carved all over with whimsically painted elves.
The flowers are LOVELY.
Oh, this is random, but there were interesting donuts at dinner and I took a picture of two halves. Because DONUTS.
